Branches
Set up the regional offices that group your sites and projects.
A branch is a regional office or depot of your company. Branches are the top of your location structure: they group your sites, and every project belongs to one. They also matter for access — accounts scoped to a branch see only that branch's work.
Adding a branch
- Open Setup → Branches.
- Click Add branch.
- Enter a name (required) and address (optional).
- Save.
Who can add branches: admins, ops directors, and branch managers. Everyone else can browse the list.
Why branches come first
- Projects need one. A project is always created against a branch and a site under it.
- Sites live under branches. You can't add a site without a branch to put it in.
- Scoping uses them. A branch manager scoped to "Riyadh Branch" sees only Riyadh's projects, sites, and work.
The list shows each branch's name and address. There is nothing else to configure on a branch — they're deliberately simple.
