Accepting an Invitation
What an invitee does with their acceptance link — new accounts and existing accounts.
You've received a GoCrew invitation — the email contains a personal, single-use acceptance link. Here's what to do with it.
Opening the link
The link takes you to a page showing who invited you, which organization, the role you've been offered, and the email the invitation was sent to. Check these are right before continuing.
If you're new to GoCrew
Fill in Your name and Choose a password (at least 8 characters), then click Create account and join.
You're signed in immediately and land in your new organization's workspace — no separate sign-in step needed.
If you already have a GoCrew account
If the invitation was sent to the email of an existing GoCrew account, the page offers a one-click Join the organization — no password needed, and your existing account details are untouched.
You appear in the organization's member list right away. Organization switching is on the product's way; for now, simply sign in as you usually do.
If the link doesn't work
The acceptance page tells you exactly why:
- "This invitation has expired" — it passed its 7-day validity. Ask an admin to resend it; the new email carries a fresh link.
- "This invitation was revoked" — it was cancelled by the organization. An admin will need to invite you again.
- "This invitation link is not valid" — the link is unknown or was already used. Each link is single-use: if you (or a mail preview) already accepted with it, check whether you're now a member. Otherwise ask the admin who invited you.
After joining
- You're listed on the organization's Team page with your role.
- What you can see and do from here depends entirely on your role — start with Roles & Permissions.
- Technicians usually head to Work → Work Orders to find their assigned work.
